Cassandra's food philosophy is all about eating food that fuels and nourishes you with love for your mind, body and soul. She believes in a holistic approach to health where you take a mindful approach to eating and don't reach for food to numb, fix or feel something. Food is for nourishing and when we are looking to it to solve our problems, and REALIZE that, then we can do the deeper soul work

Cassandra Bodzak is a holistic lifestyle expert, meditation and wellness teacher, and self-taught plant-based  chef.

Cassandra's journey with food began in college when she was forced to change the way she looked at the food she was putting in her body after developing numerous food allergies that sent her straight to the infirmary. Through cleaning up her diet, learning to love and accept her body and eating from a place of self-love to fuel and nourish her, she was naturally lead to the kitchen. Her mission began with creating delicious food that was also GOOD for your body. She didn't want to take her food allergies as a life sentence to only eat bland foods and boring vegetables. So she got to work in the kitchen and starting sharing her favorite recipes on a blog that was called GoSweetandSkinny.com (these recipes still live on the current CassandraBodzak.com) - she wanted people to know that you could very literally have your CAKE and eat it too!

That passion project kept her sane (and eating well) for over five years till she started getting inquiries from readers about one-on-one wellness coaching as well as an opportunity to be on ABC's The Taste.  After appearing on The Taste, she has been featured in SHAPE magazine's plant based cooking videos, had recipes featured on WELL+GOOD, Mind Body Green, Self Magazine, Lucy Let's Go, Eat Beautiful and many more outlets.
